IReF (Lombardy Regional Institute for Education and Training of Public Administration)
is an organ of the regional government of Lombardy which offers educational activities and services to the regional and local administrations. Its mission is to promote human capital, diffuse formative best paractices and a culture of excellence and to serve the common good through education and training. I.Re.F. runs different schools for continuing education and training of personnel working in provinces, municipalities, mountain communities, public utilities, and other decentralized regional structures. The main areas of education and training are about the Regional System, Health and Social Services, the Territorial system, as well as Administration and ICT services.
