ACTIVITIES
- Comparative analysis and benchmarking of high-performing welfare systems based on the principle of horizontal subsidiarity;
- Promoting a comprehensive, demands-driven system of public services while maintaining a dialogue with the civil society and sharing knowledge between public and private actors;
- Impact analysis of social, educational and health care systems on the labour market in order to integrate labour market policies and local economic developments;
- Tailored, practice-oriented training programmes in the fields of social affairs, employment, education, vocational training and public health care;
- Implementation of new instruments for the improvement of education and vocational training systems, both in the public and private sectors: delivery of pilot projects such as personalised training tools, adult education programmes, e-Learning, transnational learning and continuous quality management as part of the European Qualification Framework (EQF);
- Screening of EC supportive actions and participation in European calls for proposals and tenders in the fields of social affairs, education, vocational training and public health care;
- Technical assistance promoting reform processes in education and vocational training, employment and social policies in Central, Eastern European and Western Balkan countries;
- International partnership building with the European institutions, regional stakeholders, research institutes, management schools and universities within the thematic trans-European networks and focusing on the above-mentioned action lines, enabling citizen involvement by sharing knowledge and experiences between the public administration and the civil society.
